In preparation for my trip to Punta Cana, I couldn’t help but reminisce on all the amazing places I have been blessed to vacation. Going through old pictures, I found that traveling is what my heart desires.
Family reunions... Everyone has differing opinions on them, but I LOVE THEM! The only place in the whole ordeal I struggle with (and I do this with every trip) is what to wear. Everyone wants to look their best when it comes to seeing someone for the first time in a year, but you also want to dress for the occasion!
When it comes to picking a swimsuit, things aren’t always rosy and fabulous. Finding the perfect, shape-flattering suit can be extremely stressful and is breeding ground for negative thoughts. This summer, as Andrew and I were planning our travel, I made note to not stress myself out about this minute detail in all the excitement.
Finding the perfect travel outfit can be a bit overwhelming… Deciding how comfortable to dress, trying to avoid putting you bare foot on the yucky ground, contemplating how cold the flight will be, all while trying to look fabulous when you arrive at your destination – yikes, you may start to freak out just thinking about it!
Last February, we visited New York. While we were there, we took to New York Blogs to find the trendy, local hot spots. During one of these afternoon scavenger hunts in the snow, we came across this jewel…Levain Bakery!
I am going to try new foods, run a half marathon, learn to paddle board, go skydiving, take a cooking class, read a book on the beach, try my hand at taking pictures of that beach, love my dog, have my dog’s ‘always-up-for-an-adventure’ attitude, take an adult dance class, actually try to do one of the DIY crafts I have pinned, and love more than my heart can possibly hold.
