I’d like to take a second and reflect on my first hair tutorial. Oh my gosh- HOW FUN! I was a little nervous to sit down and record myself… especially because Andrew could hear me in the other room. But after I started filming.. I found l really liked being able to connect with you all on a more personal level.
I have always struggled with my hair, mainly wanting to wash and dry it because it’s so thick, but starting my blog has been such a positive step in the right direction when it comes hair care. Not only have I enjoyed grooming my hair, but I’ve gained a ton of confidence in my overall skills when it comes to experimenting with hairstyles. As I begin to add more hair tutorials, I hope you all enjoy the things I myself am learning and inspire me to try new and more challenging styles. If you ever want to see a specific hair style that you saw on my blog feel free to shoot me a message! I always love hearing from you :)
So there’s a little tid-bit about my hair past and where I hope to get to. This past year has been especially hard when it came to my hair, as I’m sure you can imagine. Moving from a humid place (Dallas) to basically the driest place in the world (Denver), my hair has needed time to adjust to the climate change. Not to mention, finding a good hair stylist was not as easy as I thought it would be… (Just an FYI Dallas ladies: Denver hair stylist don’t like our “ultra-blonde hair”!) I’ll have to tell you more later, but let’s just say 4 hair stylists, 4 different color fails, and ungodly amount of money later… I finally have found my forever hair home and was able to bring this fun tutorial straight to your door, or iPhone, or tablet! Anyway… I hope you enjoy the tutorial!
I love you all! Thanks for the support in the next chapter of The Novice Native.
